Ace has the mera mera fruit powers, that allow him to control, become, and use fire. Anything that fire can do, Ace can do it. He can use it as projectiles, as small fire lights, as a heater, anything. Of course, he's not able to swim or get near water, but that's not because of his fire powers, but because it's a side effect of eating a devil fruit.
personality: Ace is a very happy go lucky guy, he likes to make others smile, specially people he loves and admires. He loves to eat, specially if it's for free, and he would join in on any celebration even if not invited. He is very serious when it comes to following his dreams though, even though he doesn't tell anyone what he really wants. He wants to be someone worthy, to be his own person and to prove to the world that he is not just a shadow of his father, and he takes this as his life goal. He wants to be loved, and because of this, he makes sure he gives those he thinks his love and care all he can give.
With love and acceptance as motivation, Ace is capable of doing anything for the people he cares about, which is shown in the manganime when he first appears in front of Luffy and his crowd, and how he's willing to fight alongside them in order to protect them. He also tends to be very carefree and to go with the flow of things, which is why he tends to join celebrations even when he's not invited. Even though he tends to do carefree things he still focuses on his main goal, which in the series was to make Whitebeard (whom he considers his father) proud of him.
One thing Ace has is that he's extremely stubborn. He is the kind of person who wouldn't take a no as an answer, and this stubbornness of his can be really extreme, to the point that it leads him to his downfall. He will (and does) go to the end of the world to make someone pay for wronging someone he loves. He is willing to sacrifice his time, powers, resources, and himself in order to bring the ones he loves justice.
He tends to not trust people very easily, due to his parentage and the fact that he knows people would hate him if they knew who he actually was. He shies away from unknown people and tries to keep a smile on his face at all times. He hates the idea of ever being compared to his father, and he hates his father even more just for being who he was. He keeps his identity hidden, afraid that people might reject him and hate him, and he's afraid someone might kill him for being the pirate king's son (Which, technically, is the reason he's going to be publicly executed before Luffy saves him).
Even though the people he loves are his strength and reason for living, they are also his biggest weakness. He can't stand to see the people he loves being hurt, sick, or betrayed. He puts his loyalties higher than anything else, so when Blackbeard betrays Whitebeard, Ace goes after him after being told not to. Even though this brought him the most amount of pain he has ever experienced as he was thrown in jail, he never once regretted it because it was to make things right. When he gains his freedom and Whitebeard is insulted he stands up for the old pirate, ultimately sacrificing himself to save the life of his younger brother. His last words are directed towards his brother, telling him he was thankful for his family, his crew, and his captain for loving him.

Did They Drink It? yes, and he will manifest it with small light from the tip of his fingers to heal small injuries.

1. Who is the person your character is most bonded with from their canon? Or who is someone they miss the most?
The person he is most bonded with is Luffy, but the one he misses the most is Sabo. Luffy is his younger brother, the one that went through hell and back to save Ace from execution. The one he promised to he wouldn't die. He grew up from age 10 with Luffy by his side, only leaving him when he turned 17, to try and become a world famous pirate. He met Luffy again in Alabasta, where Ace was able to meet Luffy's crew and make sure they were a good fit for the boy. He was able to talk to Luffy then, but not for long, because he was on a mission to find an ex-crew member that murdered another crew member. But he didn't tell Luffy this. The next time he saw him, was at his execution and Luffy managed to save him! But Ace sacrificed himself to save Luffy's life in the end.
Now the one he misses the most is Sabo. Sabo was his other brother, neither him or Luffy were related to Ace by blood, but they were sworn brothers. Sadly, Sabo was killed when he tried to go out to sea.
2. What are they most afraid of?
Not being loved. Ace has the thought that, because he is the son of the pirate king, Gol. D. Rogers, no one will love him if they learn about it. He tries really hard to hide his feelings, and not tell anyone about his ties with the pirate king, but he confides in Whitebeard, his pirate captain and adoptive pops, who accepts him as he is. Ace feels like no matter what, he is unlovable. Yet, he still behaves with care and understanding towards others, even if he feels he doesn't deserve it for himself.
3. What is their weakness? Emotionally, mentally and physically?
Emotionally? his deep rooted self hatred. Mentally? his family ties with Gol D. Rogers. Physically? sea water.
Ace always tries to behave as happy as he can be, even if he doesn't feel it all the time. More often than not, he tries to keep everyone happy, even if it means sacrificing himself. When Tatch was killed by Blackbeard, Ace appointed himself as the one who would get Blackbeard to pay for his crime. Killing a fellow crewmate was against the crew's rules after all. He's stubborn, and hard to control, but he does everything for the people he loves.
The reason why he hates himself is his late father, who was hated by so many people that even the idea of the pirate king having a kid was horrible. The government went around killing all kids, unborn or alive, for a whole year after Rogers' death, just to make sure a kid to him wouldn't be born. Yet Ace's mom wanted him to live. Hiding him inside her body until she felt it was safe, giving up her own life for him. He was given to Garp, Rogers' marine rival and enemy, to be raised and kept safe by. The idea that Rogers might have had a kid always gave Ace the same answer when he asked around: That kid would just be a demon, a slight on the seas. So he grew up afraid of saying who he really was, and in turn, hating Rogers for everything.
Now, as a fruit user, Ace is weak to sea water and anything that contains sea water in it. Ironic, as he's a pirate and spends most time on the sea than anywhere else. He doesn't really see this as a bad outcome to having his powers, but he always tries to be careful. Growing up with Luffy, who has a fruit power too, also taught him what he could and couldn't do. Having his fire power is a lot nicer, and cooler, than swimming to him.
4. What would make them happiest?
It has happened already. It was learning he was loved for who he was. During his execution, not only Luffy (and every escaped person from the jail Ace was held at) showed up to save him. His crew, the Whitebeard pirates, came too. Each and every person that tried to help him, that fought for him, told him he was loved. That he was cherished. Even his grandpa, Garp, the one who gave him a home, told him he loved Ace. A marine, someone who wasn't allowed to even care for pirates, loved him. Ace was beyond taken aback. He was ready to live again, to fight for his life. He wasn't going to give up let himself be killed. He was so close to escaping the execution grounds, when a marine admiral tried to kill Luffy. Ace couldn't let that happen, and so he got in the way between the admiral and his brother. In his dying breath, he thanked Luffy for loving him, and died smiling. In Luffy's arms.
